Car consignment in Singapore

Consign your car with us and we sell it for you: we price it, list it, handle every enquiry, viewing and test drive, and do the paperwork. It stays yours until it sells, and our terms are in writing before you decide.

How consigning with us works

  1. 1

    Tell us about the car

Make, model, registration number and mileage. We look at what similar cars are selling for and come back with a realistic asking price.

  2. 2

    Agree the terms in writing

How we are paid, what you receive at the asking price, how long the arrangement runs, and what happens if it doesn't sell. Nothing starts until you have it in writing.

  3. 3

    We sell it

We photograph and list the car, answer every enquiry, and handle viewings and test drives. The asking price only changes with your agreement.

  4. 4

    Transfer and payment

When a buyer is found we complete the sale, settle any outstanding loan and handle the LTA transfer. Then you are paid the agreed amount.

Tell us about the car and we will come back with an asking price and our terms.

I agree to Kaze Motors Pte Ltd collecting and using my contact details to respond to this enquiry.

Consign or sell outright?

We do both. Consignment trades a little time for a better price; selling to us outright gives you certainty today. Either way we handle the buyer and the paperwork.

What we put in writing

  • How we are paid, and the amount you receive at the agreed asking price.
  • How long the consignment runs, and how either side can end it.
  • Where the car is kept and who is responsible for it, including insurance.
  • How test drives are handled.
  • That the asking price only changes with your agreement.
  • How any outstanding loan is settled, and when you are paid after the sale.

Car consignment: common questions

What is car consignment?

Consignment means a dealer markets and sells your car for you while you still own it. The dealer handles enquiries, viewings, test drives and the paperwork, and you are paid when a buyer is found. It usually gets a better price than selling to a dealer outright, in exchange for some patience.

Do I still own the car while it is consigned?

Yes. The car stays in your name until it is sold and transferred to the buyer.

How are you paid for consigning my car?

It depends on the car, and we set it out in writing before you decide, together with the amount you will receive at the agreed asking price. You will know your number before anything is listed.

How long does it take to sell a consigned car?

It depends on the car and the asking price. A well-priced car can sell within weeks; rarer or higher-value cars can take longer because they need the right buyer. We agree how long the arrangement runs in writing, and we will tell you honestly if we think the price is holding it back.

Can I consign a car that still has a loan?

Yes. When the car sells, the outstanding loan is settled as part of the transfer and you receive the balance.

Which cars do you take on consignment?

Mainly luxury, performance and enthusiast cars, where finding the right buyer makes a real difference to the price. For an everyday car with a clear market price, selling to us outright is often simpler, and we will tell you which we think suits your car.

Should I consign or sell my car outright?

Sell outright if you need the money or the space quickly, or if the car is an everyday model with a clear market price. Consign if the car needs the right buyer and you can wait a few weeks for a better result. We do both, and you can also trade your car in against one we have for sale.
