Terms of sale
The terms on which we sell vehicles, and what you are entitled to if something is not right.
Who you are buying from
Vehicles on this website are sold by Kaze Motors Pte Ltd, a motor vehicle dealer at 159 Sin Ming Road #01-05 Amtech Building, Singapore 575625.
These terms apply to vehicles sold to consumers. Sales to other businesses are on separate written terms.
Listings and prices
Prices shown include GST where it applies and are the price of the vehicle itself. They do not include insurance, road tax renewal, or transfer fees, which are set by third parties and quoted separately before you commit.
We take care to describe every vehicle accurately, including mileage, registration date, ownership history and any accident record we are aware of. Specifications are drawn from the vehicle's records; where a figure such as COE expiry is estimated rather than confirmed, the listing says so.
A listing is an invitation to treat, not an offer. A sale is formed when both parties sign a sale agreement.
Viewing and inspection
You are welcome to inspect any vehicle before buying, and to have it inspected by an independent workshop or evaluation centre of your choosing at your own cost. We will make the vehicle available for that.
We encourage it. A buyer who has had the car looked at is a buyer who knows what they are getting.
Deposits
A deposit reserves a vehicle and is set out in writing when you pay it, including whether and in what circumstances it is refundable.
If we cannot complete the sale for a reason within our control, your deposit is refunded in full.
Your rights if something is wrong
Used vehicles sold by a dealer to a consumer in Singapore are covered by the Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act, commonly called the Lemon Law.
If a vehicle does not conform to the contract, you may require us to repair or replace it. If that is not possible or not done within a reasonable time, you may seek a price reduction or return the vehicle for a refund.
Where a defect appears within six months of delivery, it is presumed to have existed at delivery unless we can show otherwise. What counts as satisfactory quality takes into account the vehicle's age, mileage and price, as the Act provides.
None of these terms limit your statutory rights.
If we disagree
Talk to us first. Most problems are quicker to fix directly than through anyone else.
If we cannot resolve it, you may take the matter to the Consumers Association of Singapore (CASE) or to the Small Claims Tribunals, which handle motor vehicle claims within their limits.
These terms are governed by Singapore law.
Financing and insurance
Kaze Motors Pte Ltd is not a licensed moneylender, financial adviser or insurance broker. Where we introduce you to a lender or insurer, the agreement is between you and them, and their terms apply.
Any instalment figure shown on this website is an estimate to help you plan, not a quote or an offer of credit.
